Mayhem
Must admit its not easy this time I'm trying to learn to feather touch and see how it comes out. When doing it lightly you hardly see the work your doing (or it could be because i have bad light) any way i tried doing this with the lowest dremmel points ...After a second look i then re did the head with a larger point to make it stick out more. I think its a fine line between what looks good and what doesn't lol ...Then added a CCFL tube just to test it out for idea's ... Its so dammed hard taking good photos of this stuff lol ... Mayhem
Working on cab etchings now as i type this (just having a rest)These are quite close up so it looks a little wobbly but then again i haven\\\'t cleaned it up yet neither. ........15 min later lol -------Oky first alien finished on the CP ...Need to do more work but you\\\'ll get the jist of what im up to ... The alien is approx 2\\\" in hight and 3.5\\\" in length so as you can see its really quite small but i think there is a lot of detail in it for such a small picture. Took about 1/2 to createMy lighting is rubbish atm , but to give you a idea with some bad red cold cathode tubes here you. they don\\\'t relay give it enough effect and it took 50 pics before i got a few to look oky ...Ill be getting some much strong Leds later on to test it out better.this shot came out really wired but looks unreal ... bkenobi
Looks great! I thought you initially suggested having windows in the lower doors to see the consoles. Has that been scrapped?

Mayhem
You can see the shelf will hold a full pc with out any problems. This is fully retractable so it has easy access to the pc no messing around ...It will take a full size keybord and still enough room for the mouse as well.has a 15 degrees tilt system so the TV can be tilted and can hold up to a 60" plasma screen
bkenobi
Looks great. I like the full extension PC tray. Do you have the CP LCD set up to do anything yet? I'd really like to see what it can do.
emphatic
Can you rotate the screen for vertical games?Emph
bkenobi
Can you rotate the screen for vertical games? How about pinballs? I've seen those virtual pinball tables advertised before and would love to build one. But, if this screen were able to rotate, you would get the same effect with a much more flexible machine! Mayhem
i dont what to say to much but i have figured a way to use auto rotate but this is for another project. Im holding my cards near my chest for the moment. The only thing we cannot do is rotate any thing above a 42" due to sheer size. but yes its possible and yes its possible on this frame. up to 42"I would put my hand on my hart and say this is the most configurable cab to date companied to old style cabs. A lot of work has gone into being able and having the ability to do nearly every thing. But like every thing else in this world there is room for improvement. Mayhem
First we start with karaoke .. Sun fly disks playing ->Then we have Album Player with Mini Lyric's running on main screen and Album Player o the touch screen. Then we have Mame running ...And then kids testing out the system ...I've still not finished the back box due to money limitations and having to get new hardware. I will do that later on when i can afford to buy the electronics that i need to fit. Im all so going to work up a 2 player none Touch screen CP without the keyboard just to show how you can change the system to your own needs of the system. This will be 2 x thinner than the current cp. All so i can show how it only takes 1 min to swap out the control panels. The possibilities are endless to what i can do to this frame work.. But the question would be "Would you have one of these in your home ?"
GeorgeT
That is looking mighty slick! is it heavy or light to move around? are things secure enough to move from room to room?
Mayhem
the Cp comes off in 30 seconds . 2 screws to undo and 2 cables that is it. I would say by the times its complete if it just had a PC inside it would weigh the same if less than a normal cab. All so it is easy to move around due to it having wheels 2 x underneath. The back box once complete all so lifts off after releasing a few screws. So in essence this cab can be stripped down and built back fast. But what's the point of that, its not as if you going to be taking it round a mates house every day !!!!! lol
