Hi All!!!

I have two problems with the setup of Visual Pinball.

1 - When I enter the game list inside Gameex and select any of the tables, there is no filter (manufacturer, year, genere). I remember in my old installation of Gameex that appeared the filters and could choose the games from the same manufacturer or of the same year. What can I do to apply filters to my Visual Pinball games?. I have selected the Visual Pinball database in the Gameex configuration for that emulator.

2 - I have my tables torrenziped. The Visual Pinball program can not run Visual Pinball tables torrenzip, I have choose the option in Gameex to indicate that the tables are torrentzip and the program unzip correctly and I can play all games. The problem is that some tables need *.vbs (visual basic) files and should be in the same folder as the tables to play. If you put the *.vbs files in the folder where GameEx uncompresses tables to play with Gameex, Gameex delete the entire contents of the folder including *. vbs files.

What can I do to make gameex not delete my visual basic files?

Where can I leave the *. vbs files to play with tables torrentziped in Gameex?

Thanks for your help and forgive my English.

Make the folder read only? Could cause an error within GE though.

Hi lingpanda!!! Thanks for your reply!!!

I solved the problem of vbs with a .bat file that copy all scripts to the folder every time i play a table.

I have only one problem, Why i can´t select filters like manufacturer, year, etc.... with my visual pinball tables? What i can do to enable filters with this emulator?

Thanks in advance!!!

It seems that the roms you have do not match the datatbase? If you have MS Access you should be able to view the database file in GameEx/Data/Emulators. What rom version are you using?

Hi lingpanda!!!

I opened the visual pinball database file in Gameex/data/emulators and i only see the ID, Name and TOSEC... There is not any publisher, year, etc... i think that is the problem...

Where can i find a updated visual pinball data base for gameex?

Thanks!!!

The databases are being worked on by a few folks here. It's just a matter of having the time to get around to them. Unless you wanted to do your own. I don't have MS Access on my system so i can't confirm if thats your issues. Compare the ones that do work to the visual pinball one.
