Flickering picture

Hello all

just set up gameex and when I load a rom the picture flickers and the sound is distorted.

i'm using mameui32.

when i use another mame version like just mame32 it's fine

i have just set up the ui version with flyers,markees,videos,icons, and every thing else can this problem be solved or shall I just use the other version of mame the problem is that it will take me hours to do

Hmmm, sounds like you downloaded GameEx Remix 2009. The new version that Tom is working on.

Sounds like this is a MameUI32 issue. If you load up a rom manually (without GameEx) it does the same thing right?

This can be caused by something trying to steal focus. I doubt that's the problem here, but just thought I would point it out so you can verify that's not the issue.

Check and make sure that you don't have the "-triplebuffer" switch in the "Mame Options", in the "Advanced Mame Settings".

Good call. We haven't seen that issue in a while, so I completely forgot about -tripplebuffer.
