Are you sure that's the name of the executable and not VirtuaNES.exe?

So command-line would be:

VirtuaNES.exe "[ROMPATH]\[ROMFILE]"

ok i changed that and it works now thanks you and tempest were a big help so far but i also have a problem with n64 but i think its a problem with emulator it gives me a error when trying to load a game "attempt to open file failed"

but after that the emulator is on screen and i can go into file and open and rom loads ok then???? any help would be much appreciated

Well I've seen that when a ROM fails to load like if the command-line is incorrect or if the rom extension is not recognized but since you can open from the file menu and run then I would say it's the command-line. What version of Project64 are you running?

i got it to work i had to remove "" you guys have been great so after my pc runs them i can try getting them to work on my arcade machine.

really thanks for all the help my machine had been down for a few months its in my living room and i cant have a down machine when the pizza guy comes over! lol
