Hi.

It has been some time since I launched GameEx. It' installed in an external drive so I don't remember if I had the same os installed. After launching it exits with this error.

22:59:07.7 05/03/2009: Error: Emulator_1: 7-Zip/Goodmerge support is a registered version only feature

22:59:07.7 05/03/2009: --Please correct the error above for this emulator or disable the emulator.

I have reinstalled it over my old gameex installation folder but I still get the same error.

You have 7zip support turned on for emulator 7. 7zip support is a registered user feature. If you want to use this feature you need to be registered. If you are registered, email Tom to get a new registration file. If you are not registered, turn off 7zip support. If your games are 7zipped, you will need to extract them (or re-archive them to zip format).

I am registered (that's why I don't understand why it doesn't work now). I have mailed him.

If it really is a problem with the key, it would be good to have an account like the magic engine emu has, that let's you download your key whenever you want.

Because it is a system level "switch". You mentioned above that your probably changed OSes. If you did, the reg is still back with the original OS and/or computer, it is not contained within the GameEx directory itself.

I still have my e-mail that Tom sent me from almost 3 years ago. I download it whenever I want.

My e-mail client deletes mails from server after getting them and one of my hard drives got screwed some time ago. (which is a problem when using a raid 0).

But yes. I have opened the key and after seing that it's a reg entry I just executed it. Everything works now.
