HI,

I've recently bought the SFIV TE arcade stick, the buttons all register fine, but the only way I can get game ex to register the stick is using Xpadder (The stick seems to be called a POV stick?) Is there anyway to get the stick to register without running xpadder beforehand everytime?

Thanks.

You could have GameEx launch XPadder for you. Alternately, you could set up custom joystick inputs and remap the inputs to your controls.

Does it not show in your computer's control panel under joysticks?

I think the problem is that GameEx uses the x-/y-axis for control and it ignores the POV/hat switch. If XPadder works, then it's definitely showing up in Windows.

Yeah it shows in windows and in the gameex config menus, I don't mind using xpadder, but it doesn't seem to autolaunch and when it does I have to click on 3 options (about file association and a couple of other things) Then select the profile where I've mapped the stick to the arrow keys, I just want it to launch discretely!

I've found that I have to launch XPadder from the command line, then launch it a second time with the command line parameters in order to get it to load correctly every time. I'm not sure why, but that definitely works. Also, I found that GameEx doesn't like command line parameters for "launch before". I built a set of batch files for each XPadder config and launch that from GameEx instead of the exe directly. Hope that helps.

After a bit of tinkering I've got xpadder to come round to my way of thinking! Thanks for the help guys!.
