issue with sub folders and [RomPath] variable

Hi

I'm using the new 'sub folder' feature for scanning so CD games (a .cue and a bunch of audio tracks)

Of course, I want to organize this neatly in subfolders.

so, I set a filter on *.cue, give the root folder in the config, activate the sub folder, and tada, the games are displayed correctly in GameEx.

But ...

Before running the game, I'm calling a cmd line to mount the disk, using the "[RomPath]\[RomFile]" variables.

This doesn't work.

At run-time, GameEx seems to replace [RomPath] with the root folder, instead of the actual subfolder where the .cue was found.

That mean of course that "[RomPath]\[RomFile]" doesn't represent the real path to the rom anymore. And of course, the mount command fails :)

Is that a bug, or am I using the wrong keywords ?

Thanks for letting me know, this is fixed in 9.88, now available. I think this will also fix mounting issues when using zip support.

Thanks Tom!

Tom,

I think there still may be an issue here. I've been talking with Frequency regarding a issue that neoraine will not load a game when zipped, only when they are unzipped - which apparently he has already discussed with you about this. He then pointed me in the direction of a script which I believe puts a delay on daemon tools. The problem doesn't exist here though. What I've noticed is that Sega CD (using fusion) and neoraine both load the .cue files themselves, not daemon tools. Other emulators such as SSF and magic engine require a virtual drive. TSSF and ME do not have these problems, its only fusion and neoraine.

I play Sega CD from time to time so I can't pinpoint exactly when this started happening, but it appears that with the last 2 releases .87 and .88.

Surely I can't be the only one having this issue. Thanks for any insight
