Psx controller in GameEx

hi all

just got hold of a dual psx-usb adaptor and a psx pad just to try on my cab

the prob im having is when i go into gameex or mame outside gameex its like the down key is stuck

and it just keeps scrollin down.

im running my 8way joy and butts with a j-pac on player 1 so dont no if thats the prob

when i unplug the dual psx-usb adaptor all works ok

i did run a mame game and the ps pad work brill on player 2 but on the player 1 joy all worked but the down was stuck on.

any help on this

I noticed in XPadder that one of the analog sticks on my Logitech controllers thinks it's being pushed up slightly when I'm not touching it. If I had something mapped to that controller, I imagine it might think that it should send that assigned button. This isn't an issue for me, so I haven't looked into it, but I suspect that I could simply recalibrate the controller in the Windows control panel to straighten it out.

So, to answer your question with another question...have you tried recalibrating the controller to make sure it's not screwed up?

bit new to xpadder i was thinkin like tempest was that id get some keys come up in notepad when trying the psx pad

but its not working like that lol thats where xpadder comes in

now im left with one more question

how do i find out what keys to put to the psx pad for player2 on my cab

or can i just put any i like and then edit a ini file so some think like that!
