Controls Path for Emulators

I'm just browsing the features of GameEx here and I noticed the "Controls Path" field in Emulator Setup(4).

I can't seem to get this to work though, or maybe it's just that I don't understand really what it's meant for.

I thought this was an option to display an image right before the selected game is launched.

The way I've got it set up is as follows:

Under Emulator Setup(4) for my "Super Nintendo" selected emulator, under Controls Path I have "C:\Emulation\CONTROLS\SNES"

Within that folder I have a 800x600 image named SNES.JPG (I've also tried calling it Super Nintendo.jpg)

So far, I haven't gotten the image to show up at all when I launch a game under my SNES menu in GameEx. Anyone know what I'm doing wrong?

FIXED: Instead of specifying a folder in which to find the image, I specified the name of the image itself with the path.

In other words, I have setup [Controls Path: C:\EMULATION\CONTROLS\snes.jpg]

Glad you got it figured out. You are correct in that it either needs to point to an image or if a folder needs to match the file names.
