GameEx Major Problem!

Um, I don't know why, but since I downloaded the latest version, all my ROMs are way screwed up. Like my SNES roms ae sometimes in the wrong category, sometimes there are no games in the list at all, sometimes GameEx loads game lists when it's supposed to be just sitting there... I didn't change anything so I have no idea why this is happening.

.:EDIT:. Well, it seems to have rightes itself for now, but the 'Please Wait' menu keeps popping up and random game lists open up all the time while I'm scrolling other lists. For example: I'll be searching the NES list. the menu bar pops up like it's building a list and it will pop over to SNES or N64 even if I'm not pressing any buttons. Other times. I'll start GameEx and wait for the demo mode to start and it will randomly pull up a game list even with the controller unplugged andm y wireless mouse/keyboard switched off.

It does not seem to be doing it for me. Can you post the log (with this happening).

Only thing I can think it might be is a bug in GameExtender, although everything seems to check out for me.

Well...

I turned off Emulator Sorting and now it doesn't seem to be doing this anymore. If it does happen again I will of course post the log for you in a new post.

Well, it's still doing it. I started up GameEx and it started opening lists again. I didn't move the cursor at all, but it started pulling up lists on its own. I didn't see anything unusual in the log but I will post it anyway so you can have a look.

Is this the log with the issue happening? Is it particular lists its pulling up? Which ones?

I did notice your emulator group isnt loading for pc games.

Can you provide more detail about exactly what happens.

Can you try tuning off GameExtender publisher and see if that fixes it.

Ive just looked and it seems GamExtender publisher is causing the issue. Can you confirm?

Okay, I have disabled Game Extender publisher, now for some reason GameEx can't find my SNES games. Curious...

I turned it back on and it still can't find my SNES games. All other emulators seem to be working just fine. That's crazy, huh?

Keep GameExtender on as I need to know if this fixes it.

It was deffinitly a bug with the GameExtender publisher. So please test.

Seems to have done the trick. Now, why did my SNES list disappear? I know the path settings are correct, since I just used the SNES emu today... I'll try changing rom paths and see if that helps. Still crazy that the emulator's rom set just disappeared...

.:EDIT:. Okay, I tried my .zip list instead and it works. I'll try and go back to my 7z set now and see if it finds my ROMs again.

.:EDIT #2:. Okay, now they're back again. That's unusual, but as longt as it works I guess we're okay then. Thanks.
