I haven't tried what you are trying to do, but it seems to me that you want to set "Don't Switch Resolution" to "Set Resolution to below", and then enter 321 x 240.

It is also possible to have the script change the resolution back, but I would like to see if there's a different solution first.

That is specifically what causes the rolling and warping.

I'm pretty sure that you should be good if you set "Don't switch resolution". As long as Windows is using 321x240, then GameEx should leave it alone with that setting. I agree that it would be better to fix the problem rather than to scab on something to fix the symptom.

Actually, that makes sense. Set default Windows to 321x240, and then if booting into Windows and bypassing GameEx, set to 640x480, and the other installation of GameEx already switches to 640x480. That should be a suitable workaround. I'll try it out tonight.

Turns out that solution is no good because even though I have the horizontal GameEx install set to switch to 640x480 on launch, and it open just fine, if I run a game, when I quit out of it and try to get back into GameEx I get the following error:

Just out of curiosity, can you try turning off GameLauncher mode on both installs? If that fixes things, then it will give Tom more information about why things aren't working.
