After upgrading to the latest version of Gameex 9.79 I began having issues with the game DB's. The game description will not display, although on some games the Manufacture, date, etc. will. After looking into the issue a bit further it seems that the game DB's have had a name change. They now have a [Console] or other name appended to them. I went in a deleted the older DB's that did not adhere to this formation, and after restarting Gamex found that no game data was now displayed. The only option was "Create Snapshot". I then deleted all files, and ran through the install again, this re-downloaded the DB's but I still have the same issue.

I also do not have any items available to select when pulling down the Database menu on Emulator setup (3) screen in the setup wizard. At this point i'm stuck and not sure how to proceed, is anyone aware of a fix for this issue?

Well I found a work around; although Iâ??m sure there is an actual fix. I renamed all of the new DB's to the old naming convention ([Console] Nintendo NES.mdb to NES.mdb) and the original problem with the descriptions not displaying is no longer an issue.

There is a Database option at the end of the config for each emulator you have setup that lets you select which mdb to use, you'd be best to use the default naming convention eg. "[Console] Nintendo NES.mdb" that way when they are updated you'll not have to keep renaming the files.

As stated the Database pulldown menu is empty in the setup wizard, and will not allow me to select any of the DB's. I was able to go into the actual config file and set this though. There appears to be an issue with the setup wizard. I tried this on a second PC and the DB pull down menu was also empty.

I noticed this yesterday actually. I thought it was just me and my specific config, so I didn't worry about it.

The Setup Wizard is not populating the list of database files so the drop down is empty. I have not checked the Advanced Configuration tool yet, so I don't know if it's affected as well.

Setup Wizard is messed up for me to but Advanced Config is working fine, so you can change them in there

Thanks for reporting this, I've fixed the bug and sent Tom the latest version :)

EDIT: I'll attach it here as well
