please help

hello,

my controller is not working or not being recognized by GameEx, i press the buttons in the input but it doesnt do anything, my keys wont even work in the input.

also i can't get the dreamcast emulator to work, i press play game, the screen goes black and then it goes back to the menu. i tried to use the actual emulator but it said i was missing some kind of bin or bio.

please help

Please confirm if your controller works outside of any emu. Windows has a utility to check your controller status. Look in the control panel. As far as the dreamcast emu. You need to read the faq associted with that emu for help. Sounds to me like you're jumping way ahead of the game.

Yes and you missing the Bios.. We cant help you find them. It would be in your best interest to get the emu going outside the FE before trying to intergrate it.

Please dont ask where to find roms or bios images as they are copyrighted material.

EDIT: okay i did that and now i can input all the controls i want but it still wont let me use them on the game, the input says start is button 1 but when i press button 1 on a game it wont let me go past the intros it just keeps repeating them

You need to set the keys in Chankast first. The Faq should help you with this.
