Ok I am 95% done with my Mame cabinet and quite happy with most of it. I'm giving it to my kids (4, 6, and 8 years old) for Xmas, so I'm trying to make it as easy as possible to use. Right now the PC boots right into GameEx and shows the MAME list. Player 1 SW1 goes back 1 menu, SW2 goes forward, and SW3 is the enter button to play a game.

However, when I go forward and backward with SW2 and SW1, respectively, they bring up Light Gun games, NEO games, etc. All I want to show is MAME games, SNES games, Genesis games, MAME games and the shutdown menu. How do I eliminate the light gun and other game menus that are displaying? Please advise.

Nevermind - I found the menu options under Advanced MAME settings. Can't believe I didn't look there earlier. All is well now!

Mate How did you get you button 1,2,3 to perform those functions?

I been looking for something like that for ages now... My A button is Select and B button is Back for some reason.. I'm about to pull my hair out !

and do you know how to Add esc button to as a combo to one of them ! (hope that makes sense)

My Cab is nearly done too ! but I have to keep using the keyboard to navigate which is really annoying.
