NEW idea

it sounds to me the most are for keeping the "area`s" as they are what i afcouse respect so i have come up with some ideas what afcouse will require Toms help and if he are up for it

but i was thinking i would like to make a Theme-Site where all the Game-Ex themes would be added with "SS" and explaining faqs and a small guide how to make themes out from my knowledge afcouse

and last a little forum as well where people can add comments what they like/dislike or would liked added in their favourite theme(s) ...

but it afcouse require Tom gives the green light becouse i dont have web space for the themes/logoes myself so i would have to redirect the downloads to his server ..

and a little link here to the theme-site afcouse

this way this board would keep unchanged

I really like that idea, as I would like to learn how to do it but don't even have a cluse as to where to start.

Nice idea, and nice theme. I guess it's easier to make backgrounds when all snapshots are in the same resolution/orientation. That's harder with MAME games...

and yes SS are in differents sizes i mame its not so much a fuzz when its normal aspects like : 320 x 240 (where X are longer than Y) but the resultions there goes the other way like : 240 x 320 (cocktail i think not sure) but that makes the SS differents in every frontend

Fruit machines (BFM) ScreenShots does that to

anyway lets wait and see what Tom thinks of the idea ...

I am happy to setup a theme web site and forum.

I can give you your own site with FTP, and also setup a specific forum (with you as a moderator), that is if your happy to run with it and do all the work for the site and ongoing forum support.

Can you comit to that?

i would be honered to do that i already uses alot of my spare time on Game-Ex one way or the other i think we can make the best out of 2 differents worlds get the best out the main program and the Visual this way ill do my best to make the Visual part as good as possible with the other authors help afcouse

that way i think you can concentrate on the main code only ...
