GameEX running slow

My GameEx is running really slow on my computer...Here are my specs

Operating System : Microsoft Windows XP Professional

Pentium® 4 CPU 2.53 GHz

Ram: 512 MB

But the wierd thing is that GameEx works fine on my brothers computer but mine has better specs than his...Any advise?

Hmm... Well if his pc is not as fast (spec wise) it must be your windows installation is bloated with un needed softwre and services/ Viruses. etc........

reinstall your Os

You really should have more ram. A decent graphics card helps too. Im assuming its noting special or you would mention it.

thanks for responding...I should try to reformat, but my graphics card is like 3 times better than his, so it cant be that.

Tom is correct. You should post your gameex log.

if you have a geforce 4 in there you shouldn't use the newest driver since they make gameex sluggish (as far as i understand it its a problem with the directx 2d implementation)

try these drivers, they worked for me:
