Instant Sheller troubles

Hey everyone!

I downloaded and ran instant sheller, as the final touch on my cabinet, and it worked fine a couple times, but after shutting it down for maybe a half an hour, my computer no longer boots up. It flashes my bios logo, then proceeds to the Gameex standard logo (I haven't made my own yet) and then completely stops working. I can hit f-8 while starting up, and get the advanced startup menu, but none of the options provide any different results, including Safe Mode. The startup process completely hangs there, with no signs of doing anything. After about 2 minutes, if I press any key, it will reboot, and do the same thing all over again. It's pretty clear the system isn't trying to do anything. Please help! I had just gotten everything finished, and everybody's ready to play.

Your windows installation is having other issues. Something isnt loading. A driver. A service, Something Otherwise it would boot and you would hear windows chime or see at least some error.

Id put in your windows cd and do a chkdsk

Good point. Will do. I was thinking about just doing a quick repair install of windows, but hoping maybe it was something that just happens sometimes, and had an easy fix.

People have been saying that they have problems with instant sheller, if they install it for All users. Try installing for this user only.

I am having trouble undoing Instant Sheller. The auto-undo didn't work for me, so I've manually returned my mouse pointer to normal, but I still don't have the system tray, which I need. How can I restore this manually?

Hit ctrl-alt-del, start the task manager, select the applications tab, file -> new task (run...), explorer. This will start the standard windows desktop for that session. If I understand correctly, that's what you are asking for...
