i know i was a little rude last time, and i hope all is forgiven.

ive not put the newest realease on yet, but im having some trouble i dident have a week ago.

mame is all okay, but my sound is really low on the games

i did know the answer to this, but for all my attempts i cant remember.

I have a problem with the GUI and some games flashing

ive tried all the wait sync options but they make it worse

on gameex it looks like 2 white horizontal lines, they falsh accross the screen

in constent rythem.

for some reason, all of a sudden, when i exit znes with escape key, i get a black screen

if i am then to press escape once again, i get windows and no gameex

its allmost like the escape key is now ending the process for gameex and znes

but keeping the process of hideos running, then escape again is ending the process of hideos leaving me with windows desktop.

sorry, you go to emulator list.

then there is a dropdown that says project64.

drop this and choose, the blank selection.

this then fixes

Really no need to apologise, your most welcome here

You could try MAME32FX to fix the sound, this build normalises sound in MAME or something, generally much better for sound, and loads quicker too. Just one thing to try though.

As for the scan lines, this must be something to do with your video card or drivers. Which card and drivers are you using?

Thanks. I'm having a similar problem with Daphne. Everything runs fine until I escape out of the game. Gameex shows that it is still running but I can't get it to regain focus. I just get sent to the desktop.

Are you trying to launch DaphneLoader.exe instead of Daphne.exe perhaps.

Although I have not tried the latest recent Daphne release, its working pretty decent for me, especially the gamepad support we have now.

No. I'm launching the daphne.exe command line. The game loads and plays fine, I just can't get back to GameEx without 'Cntrl-alt-del' and closing the GameEx application.

PC Specs are Duron 1.8 GHz, 512 MB ram running WinME (I know, but that's what I have available). I just downloaded the latest GameEx last night and the problem persists.

Any suggestions are greatly appreciated. GameEx is by far my favorite front end and I'd love to get it running with Daphne.
