Hello fellow members,

A few questions

I am now using mamewah as my cab frontend

1. mame works good

2. for visual pinball i use the lazerus wrapper but that slows the tables to much

i am now using bat files for table startup but i cant quit the tables and return to the frontend without using my keyboard ( i have an x-arcade controller)

3. ditto for the u64emu wrapper

My question is , how does visual pinball work can i quit the tables with the frontend, with a key i want from my x-arcade config.

Same for u64emu i want to use the 3.11 version but the wrapper i use doesnt support that version.

Can i make 1 exit button for all applications

sorry for the noob questions but i want to know for sure before doing my cab software again

is the questions about how pinmane works in Game-Ex or mamewah becouse its 2 differents frontends ..

mamewah have its strenghts but Tom is getting Game-Ex better and better and in some areas Game-Ex are better than mamewah imo ...

Game-Ex handles pinmane great no slow downs here and with the "vpauto" tool it quits the tables fine here as well we have all tryied to help Tom alot with pinmane what i think have made Game-Ex far superior than mamewah in that case ...

again in some area`s are mamewah alittle ahead but i honest think its a question about time :) and Game-Ex have features mamewah dosent have what make it a more allrounder frontend ....

for my sake when i started using Game-Ex i had mamewah and Game-Ex installed

and used both now im only using Game-EX

i would say give it a go takes alittle time to setup but you are afcouse always welcome to ask if you should encounter some problems :)

sadly in that area i cant help becouse i dont have x-arcade but others i belive do so they should be able to answer that question for you :)

You don't need a wrapper for Project 64 or VPinball. GameEx comes with the configs for those emulators already specified.

You just need to enable them, and update the paths in the config to point to your roms.
