I'm getting an error when I try to run GameEx. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

I have no idea what 7-Zip/Goodmerge is.

7-Zip/Goodmerge support is for emulators that don't support .zip files. It will unzip the files, store them in a temporary location, run the game, and delete the temporary files when done.

You probably don't need to use this, so set it to "Off". It's on page 4 of your emulator setup.
