Exiting GAMEEX

I have a six button cab and 1p start - how can I exit the mame rom as I dont have a 2p (usually 1p & 2p together exits)

I am fed up of reaching for the keyboard just to exit :-(

If you don't have a dedicated button to exit, you can always tell MAME to use a combination of buttons. Enter a game in MAME and hit TAB. Go to the general controls menu (top menu) and enter the User interface menu (top menu). Scroll down to UI Cancel. Hit your select button. Now, if you want to map a combination of buttons press them together for a second and release. MAME should say something like "1 2" if you pressed keyboard buttons 1 and 2.
