Request For Enhancement - DVD ISO Playback?

Tom - Is it feasible to add a feature that allows the playback of DVDs in ISO format rather than VIDEO_TS format?

Would anyone else find this feature useful? A couple of my friends could. I usually just make ISOs of my DVDs before shelving them...having to use Daemontools gets old just to play a DVD.

Probably need to add this to the feature request thread. Perhaps one of the mods would be kind enough to move it there for you.

I would second interest in this request. Seeing as we can use an external player we just need an option to use a different command for isos

Actually, now that there's several posts here, you might as well just post the request over there yourself. Either way works though...
