Screens too far away...and my buddies would spill beer all over the control panel

The solution is pretty simple really. The screen isn't too far away, it's just far too small. I think a 60" would work much better.

Also, I think the controls are recessed under the bar, so it would be more challenging to spill on the CP. I know some people that could find a way though, so recessed is really no guarantee!

The control panels are a little too close for my comfort. I like my friends... but I don't LIKE my friends.

Other than that, it's cool.

As long as the electronics were out of the way, it wouldn't hurt much if the buttons and joysticks got wet....

The controls could always have a gasket material between them and the panel. That way liquid shouldn't seep down into the panel. And if this were a major concern, you could always put the electronics in like they do with cable TV...use a drip loop. Make sure the encoder and other components aren't directly below the holes and then just use a loop to keep the liquid away (liquid doesn't go up hill too well).
