get rid of screen when loading XP

This is not a Gameex question, but one over hiding XP.

I used the instant sheller to hide my XP. Works great !

But when XP starts it ( always ) shows about 1 or 2 seconds it's former background. My whole boot process is colored black; but it shows when loading XP a clear blue screen. Then it turns black again. I had this before, and i always changed 2 times bij background, then the loading color was also black. But strange enough that "trick" doesn't work anymore and i can't find the place to change it to black in the registry.

Who knows this one ?

I just changed the desktop background color to black and that did the trick. do i understnad you right that this doesn't work for you?

Do you have more than 1 windows user account on that box?

Jeeze.. I gotta read more. I've been trying to do this for weeks, with marginal success. Sounds like the answer was right under my nose... again...

Thanks for posting this Chriss, I'll check it out tonight and hopefully, I'll boot right into the movie and then into GameEx without any hint of XP anywhere.
