MAME with advanced video filters

Hello,

Does anyone know of way to apply advanced video filters with Mame 0.128? (hq, 2xsai, etc)

I checked out AdvanceMame, but it looks like it was last updated in 2006.

I've gotten so spoiled with some of the other emulators.

yes, I use MamePlus with 2xSai http://mameicons.free.fr/mame32p/

looks better this way on my crt! I wrote a tutorial here in the forums on how to compile mameplus to get rid of the nag screens.

What other things do you add to MAME when you recompile it? I'd like to add the Highscore patch, and also the nag screen removers. Do you do any other kid of optimizing?

mame plus has high score enabled by default! no need for a patch...

i can really recommend using mame plus. I'm using it for half a year now and I'm really satisfied with it!

I just updated the tutorial to work with 0128! Give it a shot, it should be easy to do it! if you have any questions, go ahead and ask me!

Thanks for pointing out the mameplus application. It works great.

I ended up downloading the binary version and tweaked the settings.

It has everything that you have listed above except the nag screen on the emulation capabilities.

I tried compiling it first, but encountered an error on one of the mame driver files.

It may have been because I was using 128u1 for mame plus with the mame 128 sources. Not sure.
