I just wanted to say:

I am really happy about how well the new forum is working out. Deffinitly worth the $$$ in my opinion.

It's been live less than a week, and we've had tons of great posts, people signup and visit. Thank you all for contributing MUCH more than before.

I just hope I don't blow away my bandwidth, I did not expect nearly so much success!

I agree. It was well worth the money you paid. It's so much better than the older message board. I also think that the advertising you're getting on Mameworld is helping with the traffic. Today they called GameEX the most updated frontend of all time. The amount of time you invest on improving the application certainly gives people confidence in downloading and trying it out. There's nothing worse then installing and configuring a program only to find out that the author has completely abandoned work on it. So as it's been said so many times before, your hard work is greatly appreciated!

You know what would be kind of cool? I was thinking it'd be neat to see a section on the messageboard where people can post pictures of their cabinets running GameEX. I don't know if this would take up too much of your allotted space, but speaking as someone who's hoping to build a cabinet someday it's always nice to see examples. I've heard you mention your cabinet a few times, Tom. I think we'd all like to see it!

I was thinking the same thing, or at least a sticky thread. I know I'll be posting a pic of my cab once it's finished. Gonna go and laminate it this weekend. GameEx actually prompted me to build it. My other hobby is building htpc's and a GameEx review on htpcnews prompted me to take a look at it. I loved the features and simplicity but didn't want the MCE look in a dedicated cabinet. Hence the themes.
