Ok - I have my movie previews for my games working great, but I want them to take up the whole screen. I can do this by selecting "change view" from the menu, but I want all preview videos to take up the full screen by default. I cant find a setting to chose full screen avi movie previews instead of the small preview next to the rom name. Any Ideas? Im stuck with this one.

If your videos are encoded at a lower resolution than your screen, I don't think you can get them to run in full screen through GameEx. Videos that are too large should get scaled down, but I don't think GameEx will scale up. The only option you have is to reencode your videos to at or above your screen resolution. I don't have a suggestion for a good app to use for this unfortunately. I don't know what source you are looking at playing, but if they are low resolution, then blowing them up will introduce blocky artifacts. If possible, you would be better off trying to locate a higher resolution version of the source video.

I understand that. It works fine. I just need a setting that automatically shows all of the avi game previews this way as i scroll down the list in gamex. I have to manually click on change view in the menu above the game list which works fine, just want it to show avi preview full screen without me having to press the change view button.

Your slipping Obi Wan. ;)

I know when you release a new version that you have release notes, but would it make sense to add notes for the new settings that could be found in the Advanced Configuration program? It does make it difficult to help when we don't know what the new options are...

YES! I have always thought this. I am always excited when a new version of GameEx is announced--especially if it has new features-- and then I'm dismayed when I can't FIND the new feature, or even worse, I can't even understand what the new feature is based on the short description in the "News."
