(OT) App to create MNG files (outside of MAME)

I would like to create an nice MNG file in 640x480 (320x240 would also work). Any app you can recommend? All the apps I've found so far can output .mng files, but they look like crap in MNG player. Also, they aren't completely compatible (tested with AdvanceMenu as well).

You never actually said what you wanted to create an mng from. Mame, for example, can output mng format directly by pressing Shift-F12.
