When i use the Jukebox, it shows a very old list. Most mp3's i deleted allready. And i have added some new mp3's but they wont show in the jukebox list.

I am using "File audio Tags" and put a path to my mp3 folder.

Selecting the questionmark it says: it will scan the folder for tags and i you add or delete files it takes a bit longer.

But why does the jukebox doesn't refresh ?

I found a file in the data folder in gameex with the name: playlist.txt. Which had listed all my older songs. So i thought: ctrl+A delete. File empty -> save. But after starting gameex is was full again with old songs........

My question: Where can i refresh/update my jukebox playlist ?

ps. I can't use Media player library. That one doesn't work.

Just delete the files created for jukebox and then rerun and it will rescan. These files are located in the GameEx\Data directory. There are 3 files (JukeboxData.dat, JukeboxFiles.dat, JukeboxLastModifiedCache.dat). Someone else might have a better idea but that will work as far as I'm aware of. Move them out of the directory and copy somewhere else just in case. I've done this with karaoke and the Jukebox features to refresh the list but was a long time ago to remember the details of how I did it.

I don't know if this will help you, but I simply made a playlist called GameEx (name it whatever you want) and pointed GameEx at it in the Advanced Configuration program. I then allowed for random. This works great on my set-up. Some of the options you see in the Wizard setup have more details to them. Use the advanced version.

If I add new songs, I create a new playlist and point GameEx at it. Seems archaic, but it's worked for me without a hitch.

Thanx guys. This one worked perfect for me. Also the visualize option works again normally. Most of the times it wont visualize.

Thankyou thankyou! I only wanted it to play a small selection of songs from a folder, as basic as that. Not every mp3 thats ever been within 3 feet of my computer.

Also, WMP11 is damn bloat if you ask me.

cheers!
