Project 64 Controller mapping and Full screen

Hello All,

I have a system with a joystick and six buttons for each of the two players. Wich is the best way to setup the controls for bother players. There are more controls then what I have is it possible. Or Do I need to add more button.

Hopefully someone has a good mapping to get the best control.

P.S. Is there a command to have gameex open project64 to full screen when the rom is launched.

In the Emulator you can set it to run full screen upon loading.

Options >> Settings... >> Options Tab >> and check On loading of ROM go to full screen

Its hard to say the best mappings for 6 button layouts. I have 7 buttons and that doesn't cover them all either. I would play a few games and figure out whats most comfortable for you.

I just redid my setup for most of my emulators a couple weeks back. When I built my CP, I wasn't concerned with emus as much as I am now, but I've come to 2 conclusions.

1) An arcade CP does not accurately reproduce the feel of the console experience correctly

2) 7 buttons is enough for older emus but it's not enough for anything past the N64 really.

As a result, I've just decided I'm going to break down and buy 2 Logitec wireless game pads to use for consoles. These will have enough buttons to play pretty much any console short of the Jaguar
