Yes. If you upgrade to the latest version, it will then pull-down a HUGE new version of each game that you select. This takes a really long time.

Once that is done, you can turn-off the verify and not have to use the DVD anymore. I have it running on my rig without any issues. Check with the Daphne forum if you need more help.

No, it does not. I used it once to download the update, and it was done. It's been a long time since I've done this, but I know you can. I just don't remember how right now.

Ok, can I just clarify this?

I need the dvd's for the games I want to play. I must insert them only once and then I will never need to insert them again?

What if I don't have all the games/dvd's?

I guess if you don't have a game then you won't be able to play it? Maybe that's too obvious though.

I know why your asking this. I saw those posted a while back as well, but I have the original Digital Leisure DVD, and without it, the newest version of Daphne will not work.

You probably have Space Ace as well... same issue. No DVD... no play. The new version asks for the DVD, then downloads the newest re-mastered version of the .Mov and .ogg files... which are very good.

Sorry, if I am off-base here, but if I'm not... you're on your own. The guys on the Daphne board will flame you for sure for hinting at this.
