11th October, 2008 - GameEx 9.59

In this release:

• New feature that lists and allows selection of other systems that a game will run on on the game information page. The list of 'other systems' is displayed when appropriate for MAME and other emulated systems. Im guessing its another first for front ends
• When in the jukebox you can get lyrics for the currently playing track thanks to lyricwiki.org. To access the 'get lyrics' feature, select the 'playlist / more' menu item
• I would also like to take this opportunity to again thank Flash and Headkaze for there work on the databases. They have both contributed a great deal
• A special thanks also to Brian Hoffman who always seems to have my back on the forums

To HK, Flash This is really great work it is a benefit to all Id also like to say thanks.

To Tom, Of course I have your back this is been a home of mine for a couple years and have seen so many great things how can I not have your back and this great great community.

Man, Game Ex really has some neat features!!!

You should really try to make a list under favorites so you can short them by system, I think a lot of people would dig that as it is sorta along these lines.

I have checked it with 56 naomi gdroms and roms, and all works great.

I think it is fine to go public, though it is a wip and will need updating, esp when a dat is created for it.

I can up mdb to ftp?

I did not say they were running. They are in the rom directory in the dumped name format and the db picks them up and shows the correct name and all the info.

I wish that I had 56 RUNNING! I actually have 5 running at the moment - I really do not get time to get my setups working 100% with the correct dumps, while the db's are still being created I spend the time just collecting the roms in the various formats for checking only.

One day I will have to get round to playing them.

Will have to download this new GameEx to have a play with the new "other systems" feature, sound great!
