I have just got a new pc and intend upgrading my gameex pc, using my old pc.

at present i dual boot xp and vista i use gameex on the xp install and use vista for the media centre so i can record tv etc

i have spent a long time seting up all the emulators on xp, and basicly im wondering if it is easy to change to vista.

99% of stuff will work fine under Vista. I have 48 emu's set up and all works a treat. The only 2 emu's that cause SLIGHT problems are SSF (Sometimes takes a while to sort out fullscreen) and NullDC (Has problems exiting from fullscreen).

One thing I will say is regarding the 7za.exe file in the gameex directory. This is set to administrator rights upon install of gameex and can cause problems if you use gameex's zip/goodmerge functions due to it needing to ask permission to run. This halts the execution of the rom. Either right-click and turn admin off or install tweakUAC and set silent mode.

That is all I can think of???

I run Vista x64 on my desktop I haven't had any problems with emulators except for the latest version of Daphne it won't play the video files. Not sure about 99.7 and nullDC Naomi has that fullscreen problem which I think is being worked on? Not really sure. But yea you should be able to switch over to Vista with no problem! :)
