Is there away to turn off all mame error and information messages?

I know you can turn off the Info and type OK screen but I thought there was a way to turn off the "This game does work 100%" messages etc?

Any ideas.

The only way to do that is to compile your own version of MAME. Check out the MAME Compiler thread for an easy to use application and usage guide. I don't know if it will get rid of EVERY message, but if you go into the code prior to compiling, you can turn off other things using the same technique.
