Hello guys!

First of all, I want to say, that GameEX is the baste Gamefrontend I've tried. I really want to install it in my Arcade CAB. I also want to donate something to get the full functions ;)

But before that I have a little problem with the MAME game list.

Now I have 6225 Mame roms. (working with MAMEUI32 0.126u4)

I've tried to update the list several times, but it shows only 3300 games.

What am I doing wrong? Is the only way to refresh the list to change the MAME database file?

Or is it just a easy going thing and I'm to stupid to find it out *lol*

(I've also tried this Maximus Arcade Frontend, there all games are listed, but the design and so on is not so good as GameEx).

So before I donate I really want to solve this problem^^ (Because some really good games are not shown in the list)

Greetings from Austria ;)

thanks for the fast answer.

a well one question:

does the gameex videoplayer support DivX videos? because I've tried some anime episodes but when I click on play windows announces an error and closes GameEx?

thanks

I think GameEx will accept any avi file that has the codec installed correctly in Windows.

Just to elaborate... You should always try to run things (videos, emulators, etc.) without Gameex first to see if they will work. If you can't watch your videos in Media Center (or whatever player you may have), then you will not be able to run them in Gameex. Either way we will try to help, but it helps us to know if things work outside of Gameex or not....

well, I've just tried watchning an .avi file with the VLC player (Naruto Shippuuuden 72 from dattebayo.com) and it worked.

But when I play this file in gameEx, gameEX quits and want to report this error ^^
