Premade or Custom Built Controllers

I was wondering what is the best premade controller on the block?

Currently I have an X-Arcade and maybe selling myself a little short at the moment as it does not offer a lot of the controls I maybe needing in the future. Currently I am running my system on a TV but may move it into an upright someday. Basicly I am looking for something premade or custom built that is larger than the x-arcade and offers more features similar to this...

I want to try and get something premade so that I can sit it on a coffee table and then later on put it into a cab. if I decide to go that route. Can anyone point me in the right direction please?

What is needed for an all out setup? What are the must haves?

You can either buy a premade one, buy a shell and fill it yourself, or just make one from scratch. If you go with a home-made one, you can put the PC inside and have an all-in-one solution where you just plug the A/V cables into your TV. Brian built one like that, so he could advise you there. I don't really follow the premade CP discussions cause building your controls is more than half the fun!

Ohhh, and saying "may need someday" should be "might want someday". You can get everything in the world and put it in a single CP (it's called a Frankenpanel), but that doesn't mean you "need" it. What you need is just a function of what you want to play and your budget. Anyway, have fun!
