I got the Dreamcast emu NullDC 1.6 working under GameEX almost perfectly.

(Besides not being able to exit)

Here is my issue, when playing Marvel vs Capcom (Or any game that requires 3 punch buttons to be pressed for the super moves) they don't register, AND if i press a buncha of keys the character starts running on auto pilot for a while.

It ONLY happens under NullDC so perhaps it is just an issue with the joystick plugin emulation?

What hardware are you using? I dont seem to have that issue.. I use an IPAC.

Also whay cant you exit? Do you have MAP KEYS enabled?

Just tried it outside oif GameEX and the issue is NOT present.

I searched the forum and did not find any entry for "Map Keys" is this a setting in GameEX or NullDC?

my hardware is:

AMD Athlon64 3000+

1GB DDR 3200mhz

250GB HDD SATA

Nvidia 6200 128MB

iPac controller board wired in a X-menvs Street fighter cabinet

Launch the gameex advanced config... Goto the Nulldc emulator config. Then Enable Map keys..

This should Map ESC to close the emu process.

Also can you tell me what keys your IPAC is configured to?

The Map Keys option was already enabled, do i have to configure which Keys it sends? When I press ESCAPE the screen displaying the game dissapears while the audio still plays, but the nullDC application is still in the task bar, along with gameEX.

Also: I am using the Loader for nullDC 1.5 to launch the emnulator

here is my key layout:

much appreciated, sorry for the headache of redundancy :) I tried to use the search function I swear (I am an administrator of a huge airsoft forum so I know how annoying it can be)

My apologies, and thanks for all the help.

you should put your latest nullDC findings in your sig line (Like the link you just gave me)

I literally read the link, slapped my forehead, made the changes, and in about 40 seconds It was up and running perfectly.

Ha! Well that and Daphne.. If you see any threads about those you see me in there... Those are some tough emus to setup as they are not as straight forward as some may expect.

Glad you got it going :)
