If I donate will the nag screen go away for all future versions of the software, excepting if it becomes a retail product? I transfered some money to my paypal account and I'm going to donate. just gotta wait a few days for the transfer to clear so I can avoid sending a super slow e-cheque.

I'm assuming it stays away even after upgrading to a new version?

Just wondering. Heck here's a feature suggestion. Someone donates, they get the nag screen gone but they also get the option of putting in their own splash screen with a timer that can be changed so it shows for 3 to 15 seconds?

Great software, Tom, I've been using it for quite a while now. I love it, It's everything I've ever wanted in a front end. And the extras like dvd player, rss feeds, radio stations. great touches. I often have my cabinet playing a radio station when I'm not playing games on it.

Yes it is removed for future upgrades too, and you can already change the loading screen by modifying or creating your own screen.

I don't mean the one where the Game EX logo zooms into the background, I mean the nag screen. they could change the nag screen to last for a customized amount of time and have their own image in it's place.

I was talking about the loading screen. You can customize it to a different image. You cant change the loading time though, without the nag screen it just loads as quick as it can.

it loads pretty damn quick in the current version.. not sure when that changed, but its v. fast for me now, barely time to read it. great work Tom.

Hi Tom... I'm new to message boards, so you'll have to forgive me if I'm posting this in the wrong place. FYI, I just donated $20, but admittedly, I feel GameEx is worth more than that (although it's all my finances would allow for)! I just wanted to send you some praises on one fabulous front end... It's obvious that this is a labor of love, and I admire you for lettting others reap the benefits of the countless development hours you've put in. It's the slickest interface I've seen, hands down... Keep up the stellar work! My arcade cabinet and I thank you for it!
