Quick question on NullDC

I'm using NullDC, now when I choose a game, I exit from Gameex for approx 1 second, the the game loads up. Same thing happens when I exit the game.

Is this normal? Any way to fix it? It's not a MAJOR problem because the emu works fine, it's just annoying me.

what i mean is, i actually exit gameex, and can see windows. its only for a second, but is this normal for nulldc and gameex?

You can try setting "show desktop" to False, but some emulators won't run with that setting. I'm not sure about NullDC.

You can also clear all of the icons off of the desktop, and making your wallpaper black.

You may also want to check out the thread on "Shelling" (search for it), but that is only for running gameex on dedicated cabs.

i see the nulldc window for a second as well (just the blue window of nulldc which is black inside and maximizes shortly after)... i guesss it's hard to get rid of it! everything on my machine is shelled. i know it gives away that you are using windows, but it doesn't annoy me very much!

You cannot stop it completely, only minimise the effect.

I use a seperate USER on my vista setup that has no icons, a black screen and no sidebar. This works quite well.

Set show desktop to NO.

I dont see the desktop. Im running vista.
