Hey everyone!

I'm sure it's simple, but can someone help me figure out how to load an image into an existing virtual DVD drive? I just got Mass Effect from Wal*Mart, and I want to archive it and put it on my cab so I won't need to put the CD in everytime. I probably need a batch file or something, but I'm clueless on such things.

Any help is appreciated.

Do you want to load or create an image of the game? You could always use a no-cd hack.

You may need to get a hacked .exe (or a patch for the original) for the game depending on if it has a disc check. Unfortunately, that's not something that can be discussed here. Fortunately, there are lots of places to find that kind of file.

If you create an image of the disc, you probably won't need to get a hack as it will be using the original disc, it's just on the HDD.

It works just fine. What I need is to get the image to actually load into the virtual DVD drive as I don't want to do a full install. I can play just fine from the DVD, just want to eliminate the user interaction. I can manually load the image, but I was looking for a way to do this without having to, you know, do it myself everytime I want to play...

Make and ISO or an IMAGE of the cd using nero or any of the thousand image making apps.. Then grab deamon tools it has CLI support and will mount your image. You can call the command from your emu config.

Example

daemon.exe -mount 0,"c:\My Images\nameofimage.cue".

http://www.daemon-tools.cc/dtcc/daemonhelp.php?helppage=12

In the options you can disable autoplay and the warning about mounting and image while another is mounted..

I believe its secure mode.

I was hoping to avoid Daemons tools since I already had a virtual drive on the cab. Like some type of batch file that would load the game up so it would be there already... My Alcohol 120% came with a virtual drive... Or maybe it was UltraISO...

Alcohol Command Line Usage

Q:- Can you tell me how we can use Alcohol 120 from the command line ?

I would like to be able to start the mount of a CD before starting an

application

A:- Alcohol Launcher is a tool that let you can mount and run game directly. you just need to edit some commands in *.bat file.

Below is the usage and example.

AxCmd [drive:] [/M:[path][filename]] [/L] [/?] [@cmd]

And where can I get this bat file? I'm a total noob to such things. :)
