I have tried a few times, and several x68000 emus. I could not get them to run and gave up in the end. There also is the problem of multiple discs (and sides) that need to be mounted.

It needs as really good wrapper to mount all discs required and to launch emu, and execute boot..

I will prob get back to looking at that at some stage myself. I am just far to busy at the moment.

Shame as its such a good machine.... :(

Well if they're running out of GameEx then don't see why they wouldn't run using it. What emulators are you running these 2 systems with? If a wrapper is needed then some of us can help out there in creating one.

Refering to X68000, I can't remember the emulators I tried (though there are only a couple i belive), but MESS is not worth worrying about at the moment. Too many fail to work. The other emu's have no (at last check) command line options, and even if they did - you would need to parse all discs/sides at launch (sometimes 8+) to allow the games to run. X68000 does support many drives though :)..

Wonderfull system though. I have 2 personally and Strider is GREAT.

PC -98 I'm using Anex86

X68000 I'm using Winx68

Greatflash is right. Both systems have some awsome games.

Recently bought several hundred games for the 2 systems at a fle market. Disks are not in the best of shape but been able to covert quite a few to images to preserve them and run thru emulators. Lots of the games are single disc images so thought they might be easy to run thru GameEx. Multiple images would be harder
