both emulators create savegame files. this happens automatically when you play a game

it depends on the game you are playing if there is instant saving or certain points that must be reached

e.g. mario world on snes saves after exclamation mark spots, after castles and ghost houses...

Unless he is referring to save states... Usually its a hotkey that is diffrent per emu.

The emu documentatio should tell you.. Or it may even show it in the menu.

Well, if he's like me he's talking about save states....I mashed every function button known to man just now in fusion and could not get save states to work with GameEx. Do they work and if so how?

I don't think this is a GameEx question. I think what you need to do is figure out how to invoke a save state in Fusion outside of GameEx first. Once the emu is loaded (either on it's own or within GameEx), everything is identical for all intents and purposes (GameEx can be set up to interpret a key combo as an exit string, but otherwise...).

back on topic... I suggest making an autohotkey script to remap the save and load button combo to a sinlge button or key stroke.. One could be made for all emus... This way you have a universal save and load button..

Sorry for the scarcasm guys... But come on... Sometimes you just got to do a little research..
