I think I need to reinstall windows and start from scratch. I love the way Gameex is setup. What files do I need to copy from Gameex so that I can just replace them once I reformat my drive in order to keep everything the way it is now without having to re set everything up?

your emus and your Gameex.ini

make sure when you copy the stuff back it is in the same location. This way what the INI is pointing to exists.

Also make not of any loaders/ hacks/ bats/ lnks/ Deamon tools etc..... Needed

Good luck'

Do a virus scan before you back up your files so you dont jack up your new install

Thanks for the info. Where are the favorites stored? And, are my URL's and web settings stored in gameex.ini?

Yeah.. But you may as well copy the whole folder... It has your downloaded themes etc....

Also export your Reg key. From the windows registry.

I would second copying the entire GameEx directory. Newer versions are missing some of the loaders (due to political issues), so if you have those on your current installation and use them, you will want to back them up. There are a number of directories that need certain files, so I would just take the whole thing and be done with it. If you have a bunch of themes installed, you could opt to delete any that you don't intend on using/keeping. I found that the majority of the space taken up by my instl was due to the themes directory (I only use 1 theme, so I saved a LOT of space).
