2 Game EX Questions. Upgrade and Selector?

hello. i love gameex first of all. since i have a perfect running version 9.2x? of gameex and got it all configured the way i want it, i am afraid i will break stuff if i update it.

so how do i update?

i do really want that new theme i saw running... which brings me to my next question...

how can i have - or which theme is it? - that shows a screen shot of the game when i rollover the title in the "all mame games" list?

i have all the artwork and cabinet artwork and stuff, and it is mapped correctly in the gameex setup config program.

am i missing something? or do some themes not show that?

because it looks like the screen shots work? or did it do this in previous releases.

Paul,

Upgrade to the latest version and you can get the V3 themes to work like the video.

No it wont break anything. Dowmload the full installer from the gameex homepage then install... Ive seen reports of the auto update feature working incorrectly.

Of course you can always backup your gameex.ini as this file holds ALL your settings.

The theme is default media center.
