I've used instant sheller for a year or so now. My cab crashed whiping out my HD so I had to redo everything. Now with the new version of instant sheller I get a fatal "out of memory" error and then nothing. Next time I load up I have to "undo changes" even though nothing changed.

Any ideas? I can post up a screen capture of the error if needed.

System Specs:

msi neo board

intel 3.4ghz p4

2gb corsair

arcade vga card

I hear they are having problems with SP3, I'd try rolling back to SP2....

Any info on that? I just downloaded SP3 ISO from M$ and haven't gathered the courage to install it yet. SP1 and SP2 were perfectly fine when released, but I'm a bit nervous with all the problems Vista has been having. I know they aren't the same OS, but if they deal with the same types of issues in the SP, then...

Just curious what you've heard.

Shoot BK...Like I can remember!

I just had it in the back of my mind that people were complaining, I probably came across posts while searching for solutions to my own problems. Before I posted above, I Googled "XP SP3", and verified that my memory seemed ok.

Checking the results from Google, the ones that I read talked about driver issues, having to rollback, and re-installing SP2 drivers.

I know a certified service tech for windows, and he generally would tell people to wait, and see how things work out before installing the latest and greatest from Microsoft. Including any new OS.
