i have mame 32 using it with gameex and all the games i play well lots of them have sound issues like saying the same things twice and skipping alot sounds very bad im using version 114 is there known sound problsems, or is there sumthing i can do 2 fix also im using pentium 4 1.6 512 memory 160 harddrive so my pc is not the problem as the games work well with other verions of mame also im talkin about older games such as golden t street fighter mk2 so no games that are super new also can i play tekken with out any problems thanks tony

Launch gameex advanced conifuration>advanced mame settings>mame options

remove -tripplebuffer

Also note your isnt that fast... just because the game is old doesnt mean a new version of mame wont require alot of horse power to run it..

If this doesnt help use an older version of mame.

Hey Brian! Maybe you should put something about -tripplebuffer in the faq. I've seen you repeat yourself about it many times. Just a thought. :P

Yeah I know... Im sure a form search would have pulled up the many threads also..

Ill add it to the FAQ now. But Im sure Ill repeat myself sooner or later.
