touchscreen roulet cab

dont no if this is the rite place to post this or if its ok to do so. if not im so sorry!

my boss is sorting me out with a touchscreen roulet cab from one of his arcades

im looking to make it into a jukebox for my games room. i did think about puting gameex on

but as it has no joy or key and its a small cab maybe a 100% jukebox is the best thing for it!

i dont no any input ?

has anyone got any input on wat software to use. looking for mp3 jukebox or id love a video jukebox

plus how hard are they to setup and do you need driver for the touchscreen and so on

any info or links be brill

Well if your going to use GameEx in your cab you've come to the right place.

GameEx can function as a jukebox and video jukebox. It also supports mouse input so I believe it will work okay with a touchscreen panel if set on mouse emulation mode.

There are some Mame games that use touchscreen as their input. So you could make it more than just a jukebox by having some games to play while the jukebox is running.

can or is there a way to make gameex look like a 100% jukebox oh and run like one

ie... when you goto a pub or club an see a video jukebox on the wall with the screen up

with loads of albums displaying with the track names and you can skip to the next page of albums

then when not used for 2mins it starts to play diff tracks

love the idea of useing gameex what a bit of kit it is! and play some games but just dont want it to run n look like my arcade cab

like it to look more like a jukebox if you no what i mean

Yeah good point, I think it would be great if Tom had an option to run GameEx in pure "Jukebox/Video Jukebox/Karaoke" mode so it could be tailored to those things when you boot it up.

Well until that happens I guess you could always check out the Jukebox forums on BYOAC. I'm sure someone could help you find a dedicated juke program there.
