just a short question (i hope it's allowed to ask that, tom)

if i have a complete romset of let's say amiga whdload roms and every game is there like 3-6 times (different rev's) and i want to only keep one rom for every game.

is there a way in clearmamepro to do so?

Sounds like you are looking for a No-Intro set. I don't know the correct tool to use, but this is a standard operation AFAIK.

unfortunately there only seems to be a sps no intro set for amiga

and since winuae loader needs gamebase formats to work, i can't use no intro anyway

If you got KillerGorilla's full WHDLoad set from the link in WinUAE Loader. Most of the repeating games are actually different languages. So just run WinUAE Loader and create a GameEx map file with those games filtered out (by default it filters out all non-US games) by clicking on the "Generate Map Files" button. Then open up Setup Wizard and point your Amiga game profile map to the appropriate map file located in WinUAELoader\Data\GameEx

i'm just running out of space on my cab and the full whdload set is like 6 gb, by removing the files instead of filtering it should be much less... is there a possibility to delete filtered games for good?

I don't know what the names of your roms look like, but would it be possible to delete them with wildcards? *(J)*.zip? or something like that?

It looks like the games that do not have the # at the end are the better version. I also see that in the small sample you show, that 7 cities of gold is an exeption.

You could try a search for *whd#].zip, (or *whd].zip, depending if you want the file to keep, or the files you want to delete) and see if you like the results, or not.

You should just move the selected files to a new folder until you are sure...You may want to copy the whole folder before doing anything.

I do not have the Amiga set up yet, so somebody else may know a better way, but I think HK would have mentioned it if there was...

thanks for your answer tempest. i guess that could work. but to save me some time i decided to download the killergorilla whd roms!

even with clrmamepro i wasn't able to convert the whd roms i showed you the sample of to work in winuae_loader... but guess what?

now everything is working! hooray!

is it possible to enable the filters in winuae like hq2x or 2xsai when using winuae loader? and somehow the stretch vertical or horizontal option doiesn't do anything...
