Gameex has MDB (databases) that get installed when you install gameex. The ROM name needs to match the name that in the DB to pull the game info... Make sure your roms are using the no-intro naming convention... If a game simply doesnt have the data... Edit your MDB and post the new one here for all of us... :)

Is it alot of games or only one or two here and there? If there is alot then you probably dont have the roms named correctly.

Just to expand on the earlier reply.

The mdb files are located in your gameex/data/emulators folder.

To edit them you need a version of microsoft office with Access. Failing that there are several programs that are compatible with Access, some I believe are free.

You can find which mdb file an emulator is using by entering Advanced config, selecting the emulator and reading the name listed under 'Database:'

Hope that helps?

Just so you know it was the GoodTools naming tools that were used to generate the names for the MDB's so you should stick with those names for best results

I use NoIntro set's myself but I just run GoodTools at the end but ignore the missing lists

What do you do for the no-intro sets that doesn't have a goodtools set??

In that case I don't think the names in the database would not have been updated so it doesn't really matter which set you use

I know I definitely didn't use any NoIntro games list's when I was renaming any of the mdb's unless LB11 used them?

At the time we decided to go with GoodTools even know I was using NoIntro as it was the most popular format here and everywhere else but now I wish we'd went with NoIntro as gradually people seem to be realising that it's much nicer to have a nice clean set

That being said though last weekend I gave UnGoodMerge a go and I must say I'm really impressed with the results basically it takes a 7zip GoodMerge set and works through it keeping only the best version from each game set, you pick your order of preference in the options
