I almost sure at one stage when you installed direct x 9c that it would show up in 'Add/Remove Programs' in the 'Control Panel'. Is this not the case anymore ? It went thru the motions during installation but doesn't show. I'm using the link on the GameEX site.

Thanks,

ian.

Well, i can see .net Framework 2 , WMP11, MS User-Mode Driver Framework Feature Pack and a couple of other things there. It will let me remove stuff i think. Can you see DX9c in your Add/Remove Programs ?

Cheers,

There is no official uninstaller for DirectX; never has been. But there are programs that will remove it. I'm not sure about DirectX 9 though and be careful if you do run one.

EDIT: There is one for DX 9 called "DirectX Happy Uninstall".
